CROWNS

Also called teeth caps. They are made of metal, gold or porcelain to protect the weak teeth in particular those teeth with large fillings or broken teeth or to improve the aesthetic of severely discoloured teeth.

How are They Made?

The dentist reduce the tooth in size and prepare it to accommodate the crown, take an impression and make the crown. The following visit a crown is cemented using a tooth friendly cement. The turnaround period is usually 7 working days. A temporary crown is usually fitted until the permanent crown made.
